Remove Coffee Stain From Carpet

Fill a glass bowl with two cups of lukewarm or tepid water. Add 1/4 cup of lemon juice and a squirt of liquid dish detergent. Stir gently to mix, then moisten a clean household sponge with the solution. Squeeze it so that it doesn’t drip but still has a sufficient quantity of cleaning solution to apply to the coffee stained carpet. Rub gently beginning at the outside of the coffee stain on carpet and working towards the center. Continue until the whole coffee stain on your carpet has come in contact with the cleaning solution. The stain should be gone by now.

Than dry the carpet. Place a clean, dry dishtowel or sturdy paper towels over the damp spot. Place a plastic bag over them, and then place a heavy object, such as a large book, over the bag. Wait several hours or overnight before removing the towels. The stain should be gone and, because the drying process lifts even deep stains out, it won’t reappear.
